Water Testing

The Missouri State Public Health Laboratory provides water testing for wells used for human
consumption. Sample kits for both bacterial and chemical tests can be picked up at the Henry
County Health Center (HCHC) and returned to HCHC for courier transport to the laboratory.
There is a charge of $10 (payable to the Missouri State Public Health Lab) for bacterial tests.
There is no charge for chemical testing. All documentation must be filled out completely and
the sample returned to HCHC before 1:30. It is advised not to bring samples on Friday. They
may time out and be rejected by the lab.
